Why is everyone picking on Jay Cutler???

Let me first say I was disappointed with the outcome of both NFL division playoff games yesterday.  I think if both games were a few minutes longer there would be a different Super Bowl.

Cutler did not have a good half, I'll admit that.  I think part of that was due to his injured knee.  Now the media, commentators, players and fans are busting his ass.  I think they are implying he should have played hurt and perhaps messed his knee up for good. Really?  He's a good player with a good heart and tough as a good player needs to be.  At least he's not a drunk, drug user, wife beater, hot head, murderer or rapist, all which were represented in the play off teams.

I thought this column and the first comment were fairly right-on.  The columnist is Dave Ramsey from the Gazette.

I still love you Jay.  Stay strong.

     Rodgers got all flustered in the 4th quarter and was scowling on the sidelines but he's such a media darling he can do no wrong.
     The Jets had a great 2nd half even getting a safety against a tackled Worthlessburger, haha,  I will watch the Super Bowl and I will have a good time doing so, but I have no dog in the fight.

In other news, well not much to report. It was an odd day at the paper. I mean with two FT staffers gone things will have to change.  I am not sure if they will change my hours. I am meeting with the two photographers that were laid-off Friday to discuss a possible business proposition.

Just another day in paradise

If you don't recognize the man in this photo. it's because the last time you saw him he had a football helmet on. It's ex-Bronco QB Jay Cutler. I am a self-proclaimed fan of his 1)because I don't think he started the trouble that led him out of Denver and 2) I think he's a tremendous talent, but really does that matter now? I am now a Chicago Bears fan as well as a Broncos fan. (It'd be a pretty cool Super Bowl, jess sayin') Anyway, when he was a Bronco he had this bowl haircut that made him look 12 and that his mom would come to pick him up in a mini-van after the game. He's looking pretty sophisticated now.

I know she doesn't look like a killer but everyone said the same thing about OJ. She is such a sweet thing anyway and warms my heart to have her around the house. If I have to wipe up the occasional little mouse tail and little bird feet, well, I just hope the rodent and bird Gods forgive us.

Looking forward to Survivor Thursday and Denise's birthday celebration. Work is well, can I just say, no I won't say what an ass, no ,my mother told be if I couldn't find anything good to say about someone, keep my mouth shut. Thanks, Mom.

How cool is that, he was listening. The Broncos also played well, but they still haven't gone against a really good team yet. Yay Buffalo Bills too.

Well I gotta get moving and get outside to get those un-hardy plants in. It could freeze tonight. Good thing I waited until today its raining and about 40 degrees out, boo hoo.
